Any time the Wildcats venture to Southern California to play at the Rose Bowl or Los Angeles Coliseum, itβs a special moment.
These are the teams most of their players grew up watching, after all.
Theyβre not the only ones.
UA staffer Miguel Reveles shared a moment with his mother Saturday. She got to watch him coach on a college field for the first time.
Reveles, who assists in day-to-day program management with a focus on running backs and special teams, grew up nearby. His father was a janitor at the Valley Hunt Club, located near the Rose Bowl. Reveles grew up a die-hard Bruins fan; he would walk to games.
Not anymore, of course. Reveles was scheduled to fly home Saturday night on the Wildcatsβ team charter.Β
