Future Wildcat
Scott McCarter graduated from the UA in 1992, so he remembers fondly come of the Wildcats' best times.
“The Sean Elliott, Steve Kerr years,” McCarter, from Dana Point, Calif., said. “I’m old. It was awesome though. Very exciting time to be a student.”
Still, Thursday marked McCarter's first NCAA tournament game. He came with his 12-year old son, Vaughn, who — fully clad in an Arizona jersey — is determined to be a Wildcat one day.
“I think they’re gonna make it to the Final Four, and maybe actually win," Vaughn said. "I want Arizona to upset Kentucky.”
