TucsonanΒ Gene ArnesonΒ died last week. He was 95. He was the patriarch of one of the great football families in Tucson history. Geneβs three sons,Β Mark,Β JimΒ andΒ Tom, were All-State football players at Palo Verde High School; all played for Arizona. Mark and Jim were All-WAC linebackers and played in the NFL. Tom did not letter at Arizona.Β
