Arizona baseball coachΒ Jay JohnsonΒ got a significant recruiting commitment last week from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman catcherΒ Austin Wells, who is the son of former Arizona pitcherΒ Greg Wells. Austin initially committed to Stanford; he is hitting .475 for Bishop Gorman, the No.1-ranked team in Nevada. Greg is now the CFO for an investment firm in Las Vegas.Β
