Here are five things to know for Election Day. Voters can drop off their completed ballots at any voting location operated by the Pima County Recorder’s Office on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
1 — The elections are primarily mail-in, but voting sites are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
2 — All ballots must be received by the Pima County Recorder’s Office by 7 p.m. to be counted.
3 — If you still have a mail-in ballot at home, fill it out and take it to any voting location operated by the recorder’s office. However, if you need a replacement ballot, you must go to a voting site that varies according to where you live.
4 — Oro Valley voters can take mail-in ballots to any polling location inside the town limits. Those not on the permanent early voting list who did not get a mail-in ballot, can cast their votes in person at their regularly assigned polling location.
5 — Go to www.recorder.pima.gov to find polling locations, track mail-in ballots and for other election-related information. You can also call the office at 724-4330.
Go to tucson.com to read the Star's endorsements and for election results, which typically start to be posted within an hour of the polls closing.
