Kids will experience a variety of cultures at the museum's FAME event.

The Children's Museum Tucson is hosting one of its premier community events of the year Saturday, offering families the chance to experience the music, art and food of some of the many cultures found in Tucson.

Think Tucson Meet Yourself, mini.

Watch dancing, practice writing your name in Hindu, play guitars and more at FAME.

The Family Arts & Music Experience, aka FAME, will feature Folklorico and Mariachi groups as well as Dragon dancers from the Chinese Cultural Center, Bollywood dancers, Barbea Williams Performing Company and the Tucson Girls Chorus. Mr. Nature kicks it all off at 10 a.m.

From writing their names in Hindu to dress-up and playing guitars, there are tons of activities planned to keep the whole family entertained.

You can also expect to see face painters and balloon animals galore.

The museum will also have samosas, quesadillas and other healthy snacks.

FAME attracted over 2,500 people to the Children's Museum Tucson last year.
