Name: Lance Briggs
Years at UA: 1999-2002
Accomplishments: Briggs was a co-captain of the team in 2002 when the Wildcats went 4-8. He was a three-time first-team All-Pac-10 selection (2000, 2001, 2002). Briggs ranks 10th in UA history with 205 career solo tackles. He also led the Wildcats in the following defensive categories for three years:
• Total tackles: 113 in 2000; 93 in 2001; 98 in 2002
• Unassisted tackles: 77 in 2000; 59 in 2001; 67 in 2002
• Assisted tackles: 36 in 2000; 34 in 2001; 31 in 2002
