Spooky season is officially upon us: The weather is cooling down, the pumpkins are ready for picking, and Halloween is just around the corner.
We’ve compiled this roundup of festive fall and Halloween events guaranteed to get you in the spirit:
Nightfall

Nightfall at Old Tucson is back for its 33rd year. The fully immersive experience combines terrifying mazes with classic stunt shows and a town full of characters that you can interact with throughout the night.

When: Oct. 2-Nov., 4:30-11:30 p.m. Thursday-Sunday
Where: Old Tucson, 201 N. Kinney Road
Cost: $35-$50 for ages 13 and up, $35-$40 for kids 5-12, for one-day tickets. Advanced, timed-entry tickets are required. Buy them at oldtucson.com.
Haunted Hotel Tour
In this 30-minute walking tour, you’ll explore all of Hotel Congress’ scary secrets, including the lady of the staircase, the Victorian gentleman in Room 214 and other spooky ghosts.
When: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. through Oct. 29
Where: Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St.
Cost: $15 for adults and $10 for kids
Apple Annie’s Orchard
Take a road trip to Apple Annie’s in Willcox, about 85 miles east of Tucson, for a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Walk through a sunflower field, make your way through the 12½-acre corn maze and pick some veggies to take home.

Or, take a leisurely stroll through enchanting orchards and experience the joy of hand-picking the juiciest, tree-ripened apples. You can also sink your teeth into a slice of their award-winning, homemade apple pie or apple crumb pie.
When: Now through Oct. 31. The corn maze is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and you can pick pumpkins from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. — but the hayrides to the patch are only on Fridays and weekends.
Where: Apple Annie’s, 6405 W. Williams Road, Willcox
Cost: Corn maze is $10 for ages 12 and up, $8 for ages 3-11. Hayrides are $5 for ages 3 and up. Pumpkins and apples range in price.
The Slaughterhouse
Ready to be scared? Head to The Slaughterhouse, a giant haunted house held in a former meatpacking plant. This year will be the famous horror attraction’s last season, so make sure to get your thrills before it’s gone for good.
When: Oct. 3-Nov. 1, Thursdays-Sundays
Where: The Slaughterhouse, 1102 W. Grant Road
Cost: $20, or $30 for fast pass. Kids are able to go through The Slaughterhouse, too, though older than 13 is recommended.
Terror in the Corn
This haunted attraction is back for another year of scares. Your ticket gets you access to four scary attractions connected by a cornfield. The event is presented by Buckelew Farm, known for its now-closed pumpkin patch.

When: Open from 6 p.m. every weekend Oct. 3-Nov. 1, Thursdays starting Oct. 16, and Wednesday, Oct. 27. Closing hours vary.

Cost: $35-40 for general admission, $45-55 for fast passes, $10 for kids, who are allowed at Terror in the Corn, too, though it’s not recommended for those under 10 years old.
Marana Pumpkin Patch
Pick your perfect pumpkin, explore the corn maze and enjoy a number of kid-friendly activities such as carnival rides and a jumping pillow.
When: Oct. 4-26; Thursdays and Fridays 3-9 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Marana Pumpkin Patch, 14950 N. Trico Road

Cost: Online prices are $20 on weekdays, $25 on weekends. It’s recommended to buy tickets online, as there are only a limited number of tickets available at the gate. Prices increase by $2 at the gate. Some activities cost extra. Pumpkins range in price.
Ghost Tours at Old Tucson
Old Tucson, which is said to be haunted, is hosting ghost tours this fall. Hear stories of ghosts at Old Tucson during this guided 90-minute tour.
When: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 22

Witches Bazaar at Trail Dust Town
Shop this mystical market with more than 50 vendors, readers, live entertainment and witchy fun.

Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Loft Theatre

Tucson Terrorfest Horror-Con and Film Festival
The annual Tucson Terrorfest Horror-Con and Film Festival celebrates all things horror with the film festival at The Screening Room and the Horror-Con at the Ramada downtown. The convention portion has been described as your typical convention experience, like Tucson Comic-Con — but horror.
When: Thursday, Oct. 16-Sunday, Oct. 19

Spirit Halloween Party
Put on your best costume and dance to some spooky bangers at this Halloween dance party.

The All-Nite Scream-O-Rama
The Loft Cinema is bringing terrifying flicks to the big screen. They’ve hand-picked seven horror classics to play. This spooky event will also include trivia games, drink specials, a breakfast buffet and a special survivor’s prize if you make it through the night.

Nightmare on Congress Street
It’s almost time for one of the biggest parties of the year. This big bash at Hotel Congress features two costume contests, vendors, live music and drink specials.

Laser HalloScream
