The California-born seafood restaurant Bluewater Grill is rolling out the red carpet for Arizona Wildcats fans making the trip to San Diego for the Jan. 2 Holiday Bowl.
The restaurant in the “picture postcard” San Diego adjacent community of Coronado is offering Wildcat fans some regional “free with purchase” deals, including a free appetizer or cup of housemade clam chowder with the purchase of an entrée.

How do you prove you’re a Wildcats fan? Wear your UA gear — hat, shirt, shoes — when you come in. Slip your hostess/host a loud but not obnoxious “Bear Down!” for good measure.
UA faces the ACC’s SMU Mustangs in the Trust & Will Holiday Bowl on Jan. 2 in Snapdragon Stadium. The game airs at 6 p.m. Tucson time on Fox.
