Irish Christmas in America returns to Tucson on Dec. 9 at Berger Center.

Irish Christmas in America has been an every-other-year event in Tucson going back to at least 2010.

The last time the cast of Irish singers, dancers and musicians spread their version of holiday cheer on the Sonoran Desert was 2021, which means we’re due.

The show, presented by In Concert, comes to the Berger Center, 1200 W. Speedway on the campus of the Arizona Schools for the Deaf and Blind, on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The show, in its 18th season, is produced by Sligo fiddler Oisín MacDiarmada and features family-friendly singing and dancing in the Irish Celtic tradition. Irish vocalist Caitriona Sherlock will be backed by musicians playing fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, harp and bouzouki, with exciting dancing, including performances from Tucson’s own Maguire Academy of Irish Dance.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and tickets are $27-$29 through inconcerttucson.com.
