To start the new year, Starbucks has a new winter menu which may appeal to lovers of caramel, pistachio and Dubai Chocolate.
The specialty coffee chain is replacing β its holiday menuΒ β goodbye Creme BrulΓ©e LatteΒ β with a new winter menu starting Jan. 6. New drinks include a Caramel Protein Latte and Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha, plus the return of pistachio flavor with a Pistachio Latte and a new Pistachio Cortado.
Collectors of seasonal tumblers, cold cups and coffee mugs can choose from limited edition Valentine's Day-themed products and those celebrating the Year of the Horse, which arrives βon the Chinese lunar calendar in February.
Starbucks new winter menu, which becomes available Jan. 6, includes a Pistachio Cortado, Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha, Pistachio Latte and Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Mocha and Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites.

What drinks are on the Starbucks winter menu?
Starbucks has two new caramel protein drinks debuting Jan. 6, which will join the year-round menu. Pistachio flavor will also be added to the year-round menu, but the four limited-time pistachio drinks will only be available on the winter menu. βAnd after the overwhelming response to the Dubai Chocolate-inspiredβ―Matcha Latte recipe that dropped on Starbucks' "secret menu" in January 2025, two new limited-time drinks become official on the winter menu.
Here's the full lineup:
- Caramel Protein Matcha: Protein-boosted milk, unsweetened matcha, and caramel syrup (available hot or iced, and with new sugar-free caramel syrup).
- Caramel Protein Latte: Starbucks Espresso Roast, protein milk, and caramel syrup (available hot or iced, and with new sugar-free βcaramel syrup).
- Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha: Unsweetened matcha is combined with pistachio sauce, milk and ice, then topped with chocolate cream cold foam and a salted brown-buttery topping.
- Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha: Starbucks Espresso Roast, chocolate mocha sauce and milk over ice, is topped with pistachio cream cold foam and a salted brown-buttery topping.
- Pistachio Cortado: Three Starbucks Blonde Espresso ristretto shots β the Cortado drinks are made with ristretto βshots, which are smaller and more concentrated than traditional espresso shots β with pistachio flavor, steamed milk and a salted brown-buttery topping.
- Pistachio Cream Cold Brew: Cold brew, vanilla syrup, pistachio cream cold foam, and salted brown-buttery sprinkles on top.
- Pistachio Latte: Espresso, sweet pistachio sauce, milk, and salted brown-buttery β topping (available hot and iced).
- Pistachio Frappuccino: Coffee, pistachio flavor, milk and ice, whipped βcream and a salted brown-buttery topping (Can be ordered without coffee as a Pistachio CrΓ¨me Frappuccino).

Valentine Cake Pops are back as part of the Starbucks winter menu.
Starbucks winter menu also marks the return of some favorite snacks, including the timely Valentine Cake Pops and an upgrade for the year-round menu item, the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich, which will now be made with new βCherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and more flavorful sharp white cheddar.

- Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites: A new sous-vide cooked snack made with cage-free eggs, black truffles, brie, and mushrooms (available for a limited time).
- Valentine Cake Pop: A seasonal menu returnee, the pop is made with vanilla cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in red chocolaty icing, and decorated with a heart design.
- Khloud Protein Popcorn: Individual size bags β of Khloud Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn Protein Popcorn (7 grams of protein per serving) will now be available year-round.
- Ellenos Greek Yogurt: Two flavors βwill be available year-round β No Added Sugar Muesli yogurt and Strawberry Shortcake yogurt.
New Starbucks cups for winter
Starbucks' Year of the Horse keychain sports a miniature bearista wearing a horse costume.
The arrival of the winter menu also means a new wave of Starbucks drinkware and merchandise, including a Year of the Horse keychain with a miniature bearista wearing a horse costume:
- Coffee for All collection: This includes a 16-ounce Cheers Tumbler ($24.95) with 12-ounce Coffee for All Mug ($14.95)
- Lunar New Year collection β includes a 20-ounce Year of the Horse Cold Cup ($29.95) and Year of the Horse Plush Bearista Keychain ($14.95).
- Valentine's Day drinkware: A 16-ounce β Valentine's Day Stainless Steel Tumbler ($24.95) and 14-ounce Valentine's Day Ceramic Mug ($16.95).
Specials at Starbucks Reserve locations
Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in Chicago and New York will also be offering several new coffee drinks, food items, and two new whole bean coffees:
- Whiskey Barrel-Aged Doughnut: A spice-caked doughnut, infused with cinnamon, orange, and lemon zest, topped with Whiskey β Barrel-Aged Guatemala coffee glaze.
- Fennel and Leek Galette: A golden, flaky pastry is filled with Parmigiano-Reggiano and ricotta, roasted fennel, and butter-braised leeks.
- Salted Caramel Bianco Latte: Starbucks Reserve Espresso with steamed milk, caramel, and white chocolate, finished with a salted brown-buttery sprinkle.
- Tiramisu Latte: Espresso with mocha sauce and steamed milk, finished with tiramisu cold foam and a dusting of mocha powder.
- Salted Caramel Carajillo: A cocktail made with espresso, Spanish cordial liquor, and tequila. The glass rim is coated in caramel and finished with salted brown buttery topping.
- Costa Rica Hacienda Alsacia: A medium roast coffee with sweet notes β of red apple and maple.
