Justin Hartley goes from 'This is Us' to 'Tracker'
Sitting still unnerves Justin Hartley.
While making his new series, âTracker,â Hartley had moments where he was on camera but wasnât talking.
âItâs a bit scary in a way because youâre sitting there going, âOK, Iâve been silent for a good 40 seconds. Is that boring?ââ
Coming from âThis is Us,â Hartley had to realize a procedural series wasnât all action. Yet he and Executive Producer Ken Olin (who also worked on the Emmy-winning NBC series) wanted to try something that was like âThe Rockford Filesâ or âMannix.â

Same path, different directions: 'MLK/X' puts King, X on parallel journeys
Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Aaron Pierre can name the actors who have played Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X on screen.
They also suspect those actors felt the same way they did when they began âGenius: MLK/X,â a limited series about the two Civil Rights leaders.
âIâm sure they were insecure and scared and wondering if they could do it as well,â Harrison says. âBut I donât think they regretted it. When I took it, I was like, as hard as this may be, I donât know what Iâm inviting into my life, but I know when I come out of it, Iâm going to be a better person and my character is going to be stronger.â

REVIEW: 'Argylle' is patterned after nothing worthwhile
Misspelling âargyleâ should have been the tip-off.
Filled with so many unnecessary elements, âArgylleâ is hardly the fantastic spy thriller it aspires to be. Blessed with a great cast, the film nevertheless falls apart several times, just from the heft of its production.
This isnât another âKingsman,â âLost Cityâ or James Bond. Itâs a hodgepodge of ideas that never quite weave into coherence.
