Freethought Arizona hosts talk on women and religion

Freethought Arizona will host the talk "From Goddess to God: Elimination of the Feminine Divine" 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 in the DuVal Auditorium at Banner—University Medical Center, 1501 N. Campbell Ave. 

Karen Garst, the Oregon-based editor of the book "Women Beyond Belief: Discovering Life Without Religion" will speak, according to press materials.
