Local Lutheran churches will host musical seminars to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 12.
The classes are as follows:
"The Gospel: A Kaleidoscope of God's Love" 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 at 715 N. Park Ave.
"Reformation Impact on Liturgy and Hymnody" 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 11 at Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior, 555 S. La Cañada Drive in Green Valley.
"Practical Help for Leading Congregational Singing" 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior.
Participants can conclude the weekend with a hymn sing 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12 at Ascension Lutheran Church and School, 1220 W. Magee Road, according to press materials.
