This month, the Rev. Susan Swanson joined Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Road, as its lead pastor, according to press materials.
An interim pastor has been leading the church since the spring when the previous lead pastor the Rev. Gayle Bintliff retired.
