St. John on the Desert Presbyterian Church, 2695 N. Houghton Road, will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation with worship services dedicated to Martin Luther and the Five Solas: Grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone and to the glory of God alone.
The 10 a.m. services will highlight one of the Five Solas respectively: "There IS Such a Thing as a Free Lunch!" September 17, "Is Faith Alone Good Enough" September 24, "Gatekeepers" October 1, "600 Channels and There's Still Nothing on TV" October 22, and "Happy Birthday Church!"
