Deer Dancer sculpture

People crowd in to photograph the unveiled deer dancer bronze statue in front of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s administrative building, 7474 S. Camino de Oeste. Michael Lee was the project director and sculptor.

St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 602 N. Wilmot Road, will host Pascua Yaqui deer dancers in processions that open and close the Solemn High Mass 10:15 a.m. Sunday, April 30 as a way to highlight the work of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona's Council for Native American Ministry.

Following the service at 11:45 a.m., food prepared by residents of Old Pascua will be available for sale with plates at $5, according to press materials.
