The leader of the Inayati Sufi Order will discuss teachings of world religions at Temple Emanu-El, 225 N. Country Club Road, 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16.
Traditional Sufism is a form of Islamic mysticism, with the Inayati order taking a more universalist approach. The teacher Pir Zia Inayat-Khan will discuss his book "Mingled Waters: Sufism and the Mystical Unity of Religions," according to press materials.
