The Pio Decimo Center, an agency of Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, announced a scholarship program to help children attend its preschool and pre-kindergarten programming.

The Open Door Scholarship Fund in Loving Memory of Elizabeth Ann Parkman was made possible with a $200,000 grant from the Elizabeth Ann Parkman Foundation and co-trustee Nan White and trustee Rosalie "Roz" Parkman, the daughter of the foundation's late namesake.

The early childhood program at the center focuses on literacy and kindergarten readiness. Families can receive scholarships depending on their financial situation, according to press materials.

Contact the Pio Decimo Center at 622-2801 ext. 7119.
