The home of Mrs. Laura Ganoung was photographed by the Tucson Citizen for its Home section. Mrs. Ganoung's home was filled with antiques including walnut furniture made by her great-grandfather.

The heavy horseshoe on the wall is from Mrs. Ganoung's great-grandfather's livery stable. It is a very heavy one hand wrought for a work horse. The soap ladle which belonged to her great grandmother is also hand wrought of heavy iron. The smaller horseshoe is a pony horseshoe also from the livery stable.

The family Bible was held together with two large clamps and was used as a pulpit Bible by both Mrs. Ganoung's grandfather and father both of whom were Presbyterian ministers. The silver watch belonged to her great-grandfather. To wind it the watch has to be opened and wound with a key.

A number of Mrs. Ganoung's cherished heirlooms are displayed in this early American cherry hutch top above a buffet in the living room.

This clock has been in use for about 125 years and has never been repaired. It's wound once a week with two keys and rests on the Ganoung fireplace-mantel.

A small rocker now belonging to Mrs. Ganoung's son, George, has been handed down in the family from grandfather to youngest grandson.

The table cloth shows here was a wedding present to Mrs. Ganoung. Made entirely of string it was fashioned by a friend's great great aunt. The water pitcher and the pin dish have been handed down in the Ganoung family.
