What is now the sunroom formerly was a part of the open patio. Bleached mahogany, stained walnut, was used for the wall of built-ins which provide storage space as well as an enclosed bar at the south end. Flooring is Mexican tile and tones of bright blue and green are used in the decor. The divider in the foreground separated the sunroom from the hallway which leads to the foyer and to the bedroom wing.

Open work draperies in a beige tone with a darker stripe are used over the sliding glass doors going from the sunroom to the patio. The antique scrolls on the wall to the right were found by the Braddock in the Orient. The walnut table with matching chairs in an off-white tone with a gold design is used for games and cards as well as for dining on occasion.

The grassed patio is skirted by flower beds and hedges of privet. An apron of flagstone surrounds the eucalyptus tree at the right. Doors beyond the tree lead into the sunroom.
