Qualities: This young bonded pair are FIV positive and need an understanding loving home.
Needs: Kitties who are FIV positive can still live healthy and happy lives. HSSA requires adopters to understand what FIV entails. These brothers need to be kept inside 100 percent of the time. FIV is not spread through casual contact and studies show that FIV positive and negative cats can live together happily.

Qualities: Fiona has had a rough life. She was brought to PACC as a stray after being hit by a bus while fleeing kids who were throwing rocks at her! She was then adopted and returned before being saved by Bridge Rescue. Although still recovering from having one of her back legs amputated, she is doing marvelously well and gets around just fine! Fiona enjoys the company of other dogs and loves human attention. She loves rubs and is very playful! She is a mellow, lovable pooch who would make a great companion and pet.
Need: She would do best in a home without young children as she is likely a bit fearful of them after her accident.

Qualities: Doodle is a good-looking brindle greyhound. Shy by nature, he is beginning to come out of his shell. His personality and confidence are definitely emerging. He is starting to be a lot more playful with toys and bounces around wanting to play with people or with his foster sibling dogs. He also loves running and chasing in the yard and will sing and howl for you if he hears a coyote or fire siren but for the most part Doodle is a loving and mellow boy.
Needs: A home with no cats.

Qualities: A Good Samaritan brought Jackson to PACC after they’d seen people throwing rocks at him and injuring his face. PACC’s doctors fixed up Jackson’s wounds, neutered him, and also treated him for a cold when he became sick at the shelter. He is litter box trained, friendly and fun!
Now he is fully healthy and waiting at PACC’s PetSmart location at 4740 E. Grant Road.
Fees: Waived.

Qualities: Katie is a pretty, incredibly sweet small Golden. She likes to go for walks and behaves on the leash.
Needs: Katie is blind, but she gets around well once she learns her surroundings. She also has some eating problems but is doing well on special dog food. She’s not a dog to chase balls, but she craves attention and needs loving home.
Fee: Dogs with special needs are decided on a case-by-case basis.

Qualities: If you are looking for an instant two-dog family whose members are full of love and low on fuss, look no further than bonded besties Shiba and Coco. These housetrained girls came to PACC on April 1, due to no fault of their own. They are already housetrained, they are mellow, and they get along well with children.
Fees: Only each of their standard, annual $16 license since they are members of the Silver Whiskers club.

Qualities: Simba's home turned out not to be forever (due to no fault of his own) and he is looking for a permanent residence with a kind human. Orange tabbies make great companions.

Needs: Must be an only fur-kid. Needs someone to play with him, as he’s young and still needs stimulation to help him grow into an amazing adult kitty.

Qualities: Baby is an adorable seven pound little girl who is looking for love after her owner passed away. Since having a dental done, she has 3 teeth so her tongue falls out of the side of her mouth. She can eat small dry kibble and enjoys wet food, but since she's not a fan of eating out of a bowl, it's best to feed her on a place mat. She would do best as your only dog; she ignores kitties. Baby is a wonderful companion, enjoys car rides, is crate trained and sleeps through the night.
