Penelope — Teeny tiny pocket pitty

Age: 3 years.
Qualities: This deaf little girl loves to give kisses and snuggle up with humans. She would do great as the only dog in a home, but HSSA is willing to do dog introductions at its main campus.
Needs: A family who understands that Penelope cannot hear but is still a good girl.

Qualities: A little bit shy, this very sweet boy loves to see what you’re on abou.! He doesn’t like to be picked up, but he loves to cuddle. If you have a box for him to snooze in, he’s happy.
Needs: Snuggles, and a family who will help him get moving when he needs to exercise to stay healthy.

Qualities: ValliB is a gorgeous gal who enjoys lying in the window sill and watching the hustle and bustle of life, while she gets some sun and rest. Treats are a favorite for this special girl along with a comfy kitty bed and some toys.

Willow — Blue point Siamese

Age: 12 years.
Qualities: Not only does Willow have an irresistible face, he makes the cutest chirping sounds. This senior sweetheart came to us when his person became very ill. He is litter-box trained, has lived with dogs, and he was front declawed by his former family.
Fees: Waived since Willow is a member of PACC's Silver Whiskers Club.

Qualities: Chewy is a sweet fellow who is initially shy but warms up quickly when in the presence of a loving human. He has beautiful tabby markings and a most generous tail.
Need: Indoor-only home.

Qualities: James was thrown out of a moving vehicle, but fortunately landed in the yard of one of a Pawsitively Cats volunteer. James was uninjured, and has been fully vetted and is ready to find a home with people who will love him.

Age: 3½ years.
Qualities: Abbey prefers people over cats, and is a lovely girl who will love to have her own home again. Her former people divorced and she wound up in the county shelter.

Topaz — Pit bull
Age: 6 years.
Qualities: Topaz is a mellow girl who weighs around 70 pounds (she could stand to lose a few). Topaz loves attention and showing affection towards her people. She is housebroken, does well with basic commands, and always aims to please. She needs a new foster home because she is not doing well with her foster’s other pets. She has integrated well in a home full of children, and loves people. She enjoys her walks in the desert and playing with her rope or stuffed animal, and of course giving the best kisses and cuddles. She will make an affectionate and loyal (albeit lazy) companion to whoever welcomes her into their home.
Needs: No other animals in household. She has arthritis in her hind legs, so gentle walking and nonstrenuous play/activities as well as soft bedding would benefit her.
Fee: $125 to adopt, free to foster and Bridge Rescue pays all medical and provides a crate, food, toys and supplies while you foster her. You provide the home, structure and love.

Qualities: At 75 pounds Sasha Lee is big, but not a giant. The nice finding family with six dogs and kids ages seven to 16 brought her in with words like very sweet, loving, caring, and snuggles.

Qualities: Flipper is a handsome red brindle greyhound who loves people. He also loves hanging out with his foster hound sister. They share a bed together, play and wrestle and take take long afternoon naps. Flipper also doesn't mind hanging out with the resident cats, either. Flipper rides well in the car, sleeps through night and is housetrained and cratetrained. Basically, he is Mr. Perfect.
