Mamta Popat

Mamta froze her fingers to the bone working for the Ithaca Journal in upstate New York before moving to Tucson to work for the Arizona Daily Star in 2003. Awards in annual competitions include National Press Photographer’s Association, Arizona Press Club and Best of the West. Her work has appeared in newspapers including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, USA TODAY and many others. She is the only vegetarian in the photo department.
