Accomplishments: Thomas was a co-captain of the team in 2008 when the Wildcats went 8-5. He was a third-team All-American in 2007. Thomas earned the Bob Moran Trophy as the Territorial Cup MVP in 2008. He was also the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 2005. He was a two-time first-team All-Pac-10 selection (2007, 2008). 

Thomas also ranks in the top 10 in UA history in the following categories: 

• Career receiving yards: 3rd, 3,231 yards 

• Career touchdown receptions: Tied for 4th, 23 touchdowns 

• Career pass receptions: 1st, 259 receptions 

• Career pass receptions per game: 1st, 5.4 receptions per game 

• Career 100-yard receiving games: Tied for 3rd, 11 games

• Career all-purpose yards: 3rd, 4,981 yards 

• Single-season pass receptions: 3rd, 83 receptions (for 1,038 yards in 2007); also tied for 7th, 74 receptions (for 825 yards in 2008)

• Single-season receiving yards: 6th, 1,038 yards (2007)

• Single-season touchdown receptions: Tied for 1st, 11 touchdowns (2007)

• Single-season all-purpose yards: 8th, 1,826 yards (2007); also 10th, 1,648 yards (2008)

• Single-season punt return average yards: 6th, 13.5 yards per return (2008)

• Single-game pass receptions: Tied for 3rd — Thomas grabbed 12 receptions on two separate occasions (for 105 yards against Cal in 2007 and for 83 yards against USC in 2007)

• Single-game touchdown receptions: Tied for 1st, three touchdowns (against Washington in 2007)

• Single-game all-purpose yards: 4th, 338 yards (against Washington in 2007)
