Anivax's Anderson to lead commercialization effortsย 

Michael Andersonย will lead all product commercialization efforts at Anivax, a Tucson veterinary biologics startup.

Initially, he will manage the USDA approval for the companyโ€™s patented Campylobacter food safety vaccine. The product is designed to be administered to poultry, to reduce colonization of the bacteria and ultimately reduce the incidence of campylobacteriosis, a common bacterial foodborne illness in humans.

Anderson has more than 25 years of industry experience in the vaccine field and is responsible for launching numerous USDA vaccine licensures.

He earned his bachelorโ€™s of science in biology from South Dakota State University and a Ph.D. in pathobiology from the University of Arizona.
