Carondelet Heart & Vascular gains a surgeon in Cooley
Cardiothoracic surgeon Dr.Β Andrea CooleyΒ joined Carondelet Heart & Vascular Institute Physicians. She will be based at its west office.
Cooley earned her bachelor of arts in sports medicine from DePauw University and her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from AT Still University. After medical school, she completed a general surgery residency through Michigan State University and a fellowship in congenital heart surgery at Childrenβs Medical Center in Dallas.
Board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, Cooley has experience performing a broad range of surgical procedures for the heart, blood vessels and lungs, and takes special interest in structural heart disease and adult congenital cardiac surgery.
