Marketing vet Shannon named SynCardia VP
Tim ShannonΒ joined SynCardia Systems Inc. as executive vice president, global commercialization.
Shannon held senior-level sales and marketing roles at several companies, including Boston Scientific Corp., General Electric Medical Systems, U.S. Surgical Corp. and Teleflex Inc., where he managed its $225 million vascular products portfolio, SynCardia said in a news release.
Most recently, Shannon was senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Response Biomedical Corp. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors for SystemsMerge Inc.
