Pediatric hospitalist joins UA department
Dr. Geetha Gopalakrishnan, assistant professor, has joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics and Banner–Diamond Children’s Medical Center.
Gopalakrishnan received her medical degree from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospitals. She completed her residency in pediatrics from Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital.
As a pediatric hospitalist, she will provide care for hospitalized children at Diamond Children’s. She will also participate in training pediatric residents completing their hospitalist rotations and medical students who are completing their pediatrics clerkships.
