Lori Throne, RN, has been named associate chief nursing officer. She has been with BannerโUniversity Medical Center Tucson since 1995 in various pediatric and women's leadership roles. She will have responsibility for women and infant services, pediatrics, critical care, peri-operative services and the Department of Professional Practice at Banner's two Tucson hospitals.
Four longtime University of Arizona Health Network employees have been promoted to leadership positions within BannerโUniversity Medicine, the academic arm of Banner Health. Nonprofit Banner Health acquired the UA Health Network in March.
