Esquivel hired by Strongpoint Marketing 

Strongpoint Marketing announced a hiring: Samantha Esquivel, account coordinator specializing in media relations. She will use multimedia, scripting, filming, video and photography to tell clients’ stories, Strongpoint said.

Esquivel previously served as spokeswoman and public relations lead for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. She has also worked as a business segment host for KMSB’s Fox 11 Tucson News Now.

She received her bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Arizona. She was named 2014 Cox Communications Latino Leader, a Hispanic Leadership Institute Graduate 2014 and received a 2013 40 Under 40 award. She volunteers with animal welfare organizations, the Girls Scouts of Southern Arizona and Fred G. Acosta Job Corps.
