Child-Parenting Centers names Lyons new CEO
After a national search, Erin Lyons was named CEO of Child-Parent Centers Inc., the Head Start and Early Head Start grantee for Southeastern Arizona.
Lyons has professional experience ranging from classroom teaching to management of adolescent residential facilities and organizational and community development activities, Child-Parent Centers said in a news release.
She most recently was senior regional director for First Things First, Arizona’s statewide early childhood initiative, where she worked with Regional Partnership Councils in Pima and Santa Cruz counties and with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O’odham Nation.
Lyons attended Yale University and then Northwestern University where she completed a bachelor of science in education. She earned her master of public administration at the University of Arizona Eller College.
