Brett Behan, RN, has been named associate chief nursing officer for medical/surgical care, telemetry, emergency departments, clinical care operations and behavioral health at both Banner hospitals in Tucson. He has been with the organization for eight years, serving in roles including director of quality and director of nursing at BannerโUniversity Medical Center South. Behan received his nursing degree from York University in Toronto and his masterโs degree from the University of Phoenix.
Four longtime University of Arizona Health Network employees have been promoted to leadership positions within BannerโUniversity Medicine, the academic arm of Banner Health. Nonprofit Banner Health acquired the UA Health Network in March.
