Jimenez, formerly of UAMC, is new lab manager at LCMS 

LCMS Laboratories Inc. hired Ernest Jimenez III as laboratory manager.

Jimenez, most recently a technical specialist in clinical pathology at the University of Arizona Medical Center, will be responsible for managing the operation of the new laboratory. He has more than 28 years of experience in the diagnostics industry.

Earlier this month, LCMS Laboratories announced the opening of a high-complexity laboratory near Innovation Park that operates under the guidelines of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.

Jimenez earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology-medical technology and a minor in chemistry from Northern Arizona University. He holds a certification in medical technology from the UA and is certified as a medical technologist from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
