Cassino hired by Strongpoint Marketing 

Strongpoint Marketing announced a hiring: Kip Cassino, director of market research.

Cassino’s background includes national, regional and local research for Borrell Associates, in which he is an owner; as a corporate director of research for Knight Ridder Newspapers, as a senior researcher for Michelin Tire Company, and as director of research for the Wilmington (Delaware) News Journal. “He has been responsible for developing new market models in different industries accurate enough to be used as evidence in court, as well as key methodology for online interviews to replace dependency on telephone research,” Strongpoint said in a news release.

His bachelor’s of science degree in managerial economics is from Villanova University. Cassino also has done graduate work at the University of Maryland and the University of Arizona.

A past president of the Newspaper Association of America Research Federation, he received the Pioneer Award from the Direct Marketing Association and the Research Award of Merit from the Newspaper Association of America.
