Lerew named interim music director by Arizona Repertory Singers

Thomas E. Lerew has been named interim music director of the Arizona Repertory Singers for the 2015-16 season.

Lerew moved to Tucson in 2013 to pursue a doctorate degree in choral conducting at the University of Arizona. He holds a master’s in choral conducting from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s in vocal music education from Houghton College in New York.

He taught high school music in New York and Pennsylvania.

Lerew is currently Chancel Choir director at Christ Church United Methodist and editor of the publication “Antiphon” for the Arizona chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.
