NAU on Friday dismissed women’s basketball coachΒ Sue Darling, a Canyon del Oro High School and UA grad who has spent two different periods as part of Arizona’s coaching staff. She was 36-82 in four seasons at Flagstaff. Darling is a good person, one of the leading figures in Tucson girls basketball history, spending time as head coach at Amphi High School and Pima College, among other stops. At 54, she should remain in demand as a coach at some level.
