A man convicted of federal weapons violations will face trial on related state charges next July.
Todd Russell Fries was convicted in two separate federal trials in connection with a chemical weapon attack on the home of a former client of his power-washing business.
He's serving 15 years in federal prison on the convictions.
Fries has since been indicted on 27-count indictment that includes two counts of attempted first-degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, endangerment, arson of an occupied structure, burglary, criminal damage, obstructing a criminal investigation and cruelty to animals.
At a hearing on the state charges Monday in Pima County Superior Court, a tentative trial date in July 2015 was scheduled.
