Oro Valley moves forward on general plan update

At its May 7 regular meeting, the Oro Valley Town Council unanimously voted to adopt guiding principles of for its general plan.

Dubbed the Your Voice, Our Future project, the principles were rounded up over several months of community input, with more than 3,000 comments collected.

The next phase of the project will be in the fall, when Your Voices Committees will help project staffers build the plan, making recommendations on policies and goals.
