Donald Trump, Republican candidate for President, has been to Tucson at least once before his March campaign stop at the Tucson Convention Center.
In December 1990 Trump attended a University of Arizona basketball game, with then-girlfriend Marla Maples. They were guests of Trumpโs friend Gary Triano, the Tucson real estate developer who was killed in a car-bomb blast in 1996. Trianoโs wife, Pamela Phillips, was eventually convicted of first degree murder in Trianoโs killing.
How come we havenโt seen these photos before?
Well, we couldnโt find them. During a routine search for other photo negatives in the Star/Citizen archive, we stumbled across them. They had been misfiled.
The color slides have been scanned and now reside in our digital archive.
