A crash site with human skeletal remains near the Kitt Peak turnoff on the Tohono O'odham Nation was discovered Tuesday.
Tohono O'odham Police Department officers were investigating the site after they were notified about it, according to a news release.
At about 10:30 a.m., a person spotted a damaged vehicle below a cliff off of State Route 386, near the Kitt Peak turnoff, states the release.
No further information was immediately available.
