A 59-year-old man died Tuesday from complications of injuries he sustained in a May motorcycle crash on the eastside, authorities said.

Ronald Sullivan fractured his leg, which was considered a non-life-threatening injury at the time, said a Tucson Police department news release.

At about 1:30 p.m. on May 13, officers responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of North Kolb Road and East Broadway Boulevard.

Sullivan was driving his Harley Davidson northbound on Kolb, in the left hand turn lane at the Broadway intersection. He made a U-turn at the light and was struck by a Dodge Caliber that was traveling south on Kolb and had a green light.

Tucson Fire transported Sullivan, who was wearing a helmet, to a local hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured, the release said.
