Border officers found nearly 15 pounds of marijuana Thursday hidden in an SUV and a personal watercraft.

The pot, worth $7,300 was found when officers at the Lukeville port of entry pulled aside for inspection a Ford SUV driven by a 49-year-old Avondale man. The truck was towing a trailer with the watercraft, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Officers found the pot in a rear cargo area of the SUV and under the seat on the watercraft.

The drugs and vehicles were seized, and the man was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
