A truck driver from Mexico was busted Tuesday trying to bring more than more than 3,300 pounds of marijuana into the United States.

The 24-year-old man from Navolato, Sinaloa, was driving a tractor-trailer rig through the Port of Nogales when he was pulled aside for inspection, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release stated.

A scan of the truck revealed an anomaly in the trailer. Officers found 145 bales of marijuana concealed behind a false wall. The pot had an estimated street value of nearly $1,670,000.

The drugs and truck were seized, and the driver was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
