A Democratic activists says she is concerned some west side voters can't find their polling place and may not be able to participate in today's Presidential Preference Election.
The polling location for precincts 42 and 43 was moved to the Pascua Yaqui Neighborhood Center, 785 W Sahuaro St.
Susan Thorpe, a local resident supporting Bernie Sanders for president, said residents who live as far away as Campbell Avenue will have trouble finding the neighbor center near Grant and Interstate 10.
"It is a disaster," Thorpe said.
A volunteer with the Northwest Neighborhood Center, 2160 N. Sixth Ave., where the polling location was previously located told her that he has had to redirect about 10 people to the new location, she said.
Brad Nelson, Pima County's elections director, said more signs were being put out Tuesday to direct voters to the new polling location.
A polling location finder on the Pima County Recorder's Office website sends voters to the correct location.
