Four structures have been destroyed in the The Mulberry Fire, which officials said Monday remains under investigation.
The fire, which started Saturday afternoon, has burned 1,755 acres of brush and grass southeast of Vail, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
As of Monday morning, the fire was 65 percent contained with no additional growth overnight.
Firefighters have secured the perimeter and will monitor for hotspots, as well as continue with structure protection, the department said.
Betty Ecret, who was out of town when the fire tore through her home, lost everything. A Gofundme page was set up Sunday evening to help raise money to clear the land and begin rebuilding.
It's unclear if the other three structures that have been lost were residential.
More than 200 firefighters from multiple agencies were battling the blaze Sunday, with six air tankers and a helicopter having assisted the day before.
The fire is expected to be contained by this weekend, the department of forestry said.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department initially evacuated residents along Arizona 83, but the evacuation notice has since been lifted.
