Authorities have arrested two people believed to be involved in more than 20 armed robberies of convenience stores across Tucson, officials said.
Neville Waugh Jr., 28, and Andrea Carrasco, 25, have been linked to incidents beginning in January, according to a Tucson Police Department news release.
Earlier this month, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Investigative Strike Team and TPD officers found Waugh Jr. and Carrasco in a stolen vehicle in the 3600 block of East 32nd Street, the release said.
When the pair saw the officers, they fled on foot. Carrasco was immediately apprehended and Waugh Jr. was arrested a short time later, the release said.
Waugh Jr. and Carrasco have been booked into the Pima County jail on more than 60 charges, including armed robbery, burglary and auto theft, according to the release.
