An afternoon thunderstorm rolled through Tucson dumping .12 of an inch of rain between 1:50 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the airport, according to the National Weather Service in Tucson.
The airport got more than half-an-inch total from the storm.
The weather service had issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Tucson that expired at 1:15 p.m.
There were reports of hail from all around the city.
This afternoon's rain will be followed by a mostly cloudy evening that will probably also include some storm activity.
