After nighttime thunderstorms that have swept across portions of Tucson this week, forecasters say monsoon activity is likely to continue through the weekend.
There is an increased flash flooding potential, and a flood watch is out for the metro area for Thursday evening through Saturday evening, the National Weather Service in Tucson said.
As for next week?
There’s no indication the rain will come to an abrupt halt in the next few days, the weather service says.
