Officials have identified the motorcyclist killed Wednesday morning in a Tucson interstate crash.

Diego Blayze Salinas, 21, was killed in a 3-vehicle wreck about 7 a.m. on Interstate 10 near the Speedway exit, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.

Salinas was in the westbound lanes when investigators say he crashed into the back of a commercial vehicle and was thrown from the motorcycle. A vehicle traveling behind Salinas struck the motorcycle, and possibly Salinas, the state DPS said.

Salinas died at the crash scene.
